Re: Why is SMS still important and relevant today?

SMS is still extremely relevant today.  We are constantly seeing business / enterprises pushing to include SMS messaging as part of their consumer engagement.  As has been stated, consistently, an SMS message is read by over 90% of recipients within the first few minutes of receipt.

All mobile phones today support SMS.  It is ubiquitous. It is simple and there are many options today available to businesses (like SAP Live Link 365) that want to embark into SMS outreach.  SMS will be around well into the next decade.
